Award-winning film and television producer, David Brady's work is best known in Canada but is no stranger to U.S and European audiences. In his new book, Serenity: Aging With Dignity, Living With Grace, he chronicles his life-altering experience of being viciously assaulted by a young man with Mental Illness. The result was a traumatic brain injury that would have left other permanently incapacitated. However, Brady's honest account of his harrowing experience will take you, the reader, through the stages and steps he had to take to overcome his severe handicap and find peace of mind, prosperity and real happiness in the second half of life. |

David was a shareholder in Mercury Pictures which was nominated for an Academy Award. As an executive producer, he has had 2 Golden Globe nominations for Best Foreign Picture, Best Actor and 7 Genie Awards (Canadian Academy Awards) for Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios, United Artists Classics, The Grey Fox.
He's executive producer of a Disney Channel movie as well as writer-producer and/or director on over 130 Prime-Time Episodes of drama, comedy and documentaries for Canadian, US & European broadcasters. David holds an MFA from York University in Toronto and was recently a faculty member at Capilano University in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He also taught film production & screenwriting at York University and Ryerson University in Toronto, where he was the recipient of the CESAR teaching award. |
